Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Client

  All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to lisaloveslife48@icloud.com.

• —

  Cancellations made 90 days or more prior to the confirmed event date: the initial deposit is forfeited; all additional payments made will be refunded.

• —

  Cancellations made between 31 and 89 days prior to the confirmed event date: the deposit and 50% of any additional amounts paid are forfeited.

• —

  Cancellations made 30 days or fewer prior to the confirmed event date: the full venue hire fee is forfeited.

Deposits

All deposits paid to Villa Biscaya are strictly non-refundable, regardless of cancellation timeframe. The deposit represents the cost of holding the date and declining alternative bookings.

Date Transfers

  In exceptional circumstances, Villa Biscaya may, at its sole discretion, agree to transfer a booking to an alternative date.

• —

  Date transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and a formal written request.

• —

  A date transfer does not constitute a new booking and does not result in a refund of the original deposit.

Event Cancellation by Villa Biscaya

  In the unlikely event that Villa Biscaya must cancel a confirmed booking, all payments made will be refunded in full.

• —

  Villa Biscaya will provide as much notice as possible in such circumstances and will endeavour to assist in sourcing alternative arrangements.

• —

  Villa Biscaya accepts no further liability beyond the refund of payments made.

Weather & Force Majeure

  Villa Biscaya is a predominantly outdoor and semi-outdoor venue. Weather conditions are beyond our control and cancellations due to weather alone do not entitle the client to a refund.

• —

  We strongly recommend all clients obtain appropriate event insurance to cover weather-related disruption.

• —

  In the event of a force majeure — including natural disaster, government-imposed restriction, or other extraordinary event beyond either party's control — Villa Biscaya will negotiate in good faith to find a suitable resolution, which may include a date transfer or partial credit.

Event Insurance

Villa Biscaya strongly recommends all clients obtain comprehensive event insurance covering cancellation, weather, public liability and any other relevant risks. Villa Biscaya does not provide event insurance and accepts no liability for client losses arising from cancellation.
